Who I am
This is a personal endeavour run in my spare time. I am contactable in writing at P.O. BOX 1120, Croydon, 3136, Victoria, Australia.
What personal data I collect and why I collect it
The personal data collected includes information such as name, email address, personal account preferences; and technical data. There is no sensitive personal financial or health data collected at any time. Delineating these collected pieces of information.
Like most website operators, the site collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. The purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how visitors use the website. At certain points, there may be reports or posts released discussing non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate because I am a data nerd.
In managing servers potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses is collected. Neither sites use IP addresses to identify its visitors, however, and does not disclose such information, other than under the same circumstances that it uses and discloses personally-identifying information, as described below.
The platform for the site data analytics is Google Analytics see below for their specific information.
Personally Identifiable Information
Certain visitors to the sites choose to interact with the sites in ways that require the sites to gather personally-identifying information. The amount and type of information that the sites gather(s) depends on the nature of the interaction. This may be to ask visitors to provide a name and email address to leave a comment on a post.
In each case, the sites collects such information only insofar as is necessary or appropriate to fulfil the purpose of the visitor’s interaction with the sites.
The sites does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below. And visitors can always refuse to supply personally-identifying information, with the caveat that it may prevent them from engaging in certain website-related activities or participating in features provided by the site. This is at their own choice.
Protection of certain Personally-Identifying Information
The site discloses potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only to authorised entities and persons who:
(i) need to know that information in order to process it on the sites behalf or to provide services available through the sites, and
(ii) that have agreed not to disclose it to others.
Some of those employees, contractors and affiliated organizations ARE located outside of your home country; by using the sites, you consent to the transfer of such information to them.
The sites will not rent or sell potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information to anyone. I use the information you provide to register an account, use certain other services, or provide third party services and products.

- Navigate to the Users > Profile area.
- Click the “Edit” link next to your username.

Retention of your Personal Information
I will retain your personal information on the systems of the site only for as long as needed, for the success allowing programs and features to execute their function. I keep contact information (such as mailing list information) until a user unsubscribes or requests that I delete that information. If you choose to unsubscribe from a mailing list, I may keep certain limited information about you so that I may honour your request and prevent you from being resubscribed.
I will not delete personal data from logs or records necessary to the operation, development, or archives.

Rights in relation to your information

- withdraw your consent to me processing of your personal information (to the extent such processing is based on consent and consent is the only permissible basis for processing).

Rights in relation to your information
Methods of Data Collection
Additionally, information about how you use the sites is collected automatically using “cookies”. Cookies are text files placed on your computer to collect standard internet log information and visitor behaviour information. This information is used to track visitor use of the website and to compile statistical reports on website activity.
If you leave a comment on the site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you visit the login page, I will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, I will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.
When visitors leave comments on the site I collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
If you have an account, uploaded images will be associated with your account and other information.
Embedded Content from other sites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
